PENDING: User Registration Confirmation links Not Generating
This is one which I don't really have any control over at the moment, BUT should be fixable in the next 24 Hours or so.
The forum software under the hood is called Flarum, and we've been running the final RC of it for this site. Think of it as the last text of everything an iPhone tester would do before it's pushed out into the wild. The 'Gold' edition should be released at 7PM UTC, and from there any outstanding issues may be patched.
In the strictest sense, this isn't a bug per-se, but the way that language packs and other means can take that URL and make it look... 'Pretty', such as a box, an actual URL or so on. Depending on what the build shows, and what I can garner from elsewhere, it may be something which can be changed in the administration panel, through an extension, or a quick bit of code.
Of course, what I'm not going to do is try and do updates on a Friday Evening heading into Saturday in the fall. That would be the definition of IT Management stupidity, which sadly I've had to face a number of times over the years! Any updates / code fixes will be applied on either SUNDAY evening, or MONDAY evening UK time, so that I don't have to watch any more [CENSORED] than I have to. It'll also give extension developers the opportunity to update their extensions so it doesn't become a case of whack a' mole.
Hope this clarifies this point. I'm also going to hold back on requesting a fix for the world's smallest mobile styling bug, which could be something on my end anyway until the above process is complete.
